Having studied Russian at University, Sonali has a passion for talking to and learning about people, with a particular interest in cultural differences. Like most in the industry, she fell into the world of qualitative research and hasn’t looked back since. She began her career in London at boutique agency Basis Research, working with clients such as the GSMA, Avon, BT and Google. This provided a wealth of invaluable research experience, including exploring the world of data privacy in rural Zambia and Rwanda, understanding consumer broadband needs in Manchester and testing new lipsticks in Brazil.

Sonali also has significant expertise in the world of online research, specialising in running both small and large online communities for brands such as Hotels.com and Peloton.

Sonali joined Blue Marble in 2021 and brings her range of experience across a vast array of sectors and clients both internationally and across the UK.
