Georgina became passionate about research while completing her dissertations at the University of Leeds for her integrated master’s degree in advanced psychology.
One dissertation consisted of quantitative and qualitative research investigating the effects of chronic itch on body image and confidence leading to a passion for interviewing and thematic analysis, while another quantitative based dissertation allowed her to investigate a novel technique for improving memory in old age.
Georgina was keen to find ways to practically apply the mixed-method research skills she aqcuired during her studies to help others and found Blue Marble to be the ideal place. In her role, Georgina harnesses her skills in both quantitative and qualitative approaches, while broadening her horizons to wider issues in society.
Outside of work Georgina enjoys video games, films, music that is at least 20 years older than her, and makeup.
