After graduating with First Class Honours in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford, Barbora worked in PR and communications for clients in the legal, property, and construction sectors. This included several research projects, which sparked their interest in a research career.
Barbora went on to study an MSc in Gender Studies at the London School of Economics, where they studied both qualitative and quantitative research methods, and were awarded with a Distinction. Their dissertation examined the intersection of the mental health and criminal justice systems. During their holidays, they worked at Traverse’s Response Unit on several public consultations for Defra and Highways England, where they applied some of their research skills outside of an academic environment.
During their education and previous roles, Barbora enjoyed working on a variety of topics and sectors, and continues to do so at Blue Marble. They joined the company to deepen their existing research skills while developing a range of new ones. So far, they have worked on researching the opinions of farmers, as well as projects in the water sector.
